USPSA and IDPA work well for the physical actions of drawing a weapon and hitting targets. As for the mental game, I would imagine for the most part that being a responsible adult and trying to mind your own business will keep you either out of trouble or the ability to get home safe.

Other than that, facilities such as Gunsite, Thunder Ranch, Front Site, USSA should get you started in the right direction.
