Can you conceal it?

As for the quality of the gun itself, meh.
Spend a few more dollars and get a better piece.

You should really test fire a couple of guns before you look in to buying. let me knwo when you get back down here and we can go shooting up at the range my friend works at to see a couple you might like.

i am not a real big fan of taurus.

That Taurus is nice and small, and is pretty easy to conceal. My only problem with that gun is that the trigger pull is awful.

My Sig is nice, but the standard grip on the 239 is not real comfortable. Glock 26 or 27 is a nice reliable gun. It doesnt fit my hand well but it will eat up any ammo you put in it. The compact Springfield XDs are nice, little better grip IMO. Kahr Arms make some nice thin handguns, but can be a pain to take apart. If you need something cost a little less look at EAA witness or even Magnum Research baby eagle. These are a little heavy, but comfortable grip, OK trigger but you can probably get one in $400-$500 range.

I am pretty sure the Magnum Research has an ambi safety. The glocks and Kahr dont have thumb safety. All of them though have the slide stop release on the left side along with the mag release, so you may run into problems with hitting the mag release when you try to grip them. If you got the bank roll look at H&K Heckler&Koch. The p2000 has an ambi slide stop release and mag release, about as left hand friendly as you can find.

The glock 30 is a good gun for conceal carry, so is the 36. Both are nice and small, the 36 is slimmer in the grip which means you give up some capacity. You can probably find one used for about $400 or so. If you are trying to stay around that price look at the S&W Sigma (kind of a Glock knock off), the Taurus line up, and the Baby Eagle/EAA pistols.
