Gun laws suck If I was 21 I would have my CCW

And my own pistol without my dad buying it for me

I hate laws like this cause they keep responsible 18 year olds such as myself from getting into this sport more. Stupid people ruin everything

Actually, I totally agree with that portion of the law. I was way too volatile at that age to have a weapon on my hip. Just my opinion though.

Im with you on this, although i think it could be changed for military personell. Concealed carry is a huge responsibility and should not be takin lightly.

I dont think that the cops would say anything if a guy in full army uniform 18-20 years old was carry a pistol lol

I wholeheartedly dissagree with the bolded statement. I know a whole bunch of underage military people who have to be babysat most of the time. Just because they have an enlistment doesn't make them any better, though I do like not having to take the whole course since I already qualed on multiple weapons multiple times, and ex'd 90 something percent of the time.

I think it should be changed for LEOs.

I know LEOs that aren't smart enough to carry a weapon, period.

You have no idea. I work in a field where I am in constant contact with LEO's, being a gun guy I usually work that into conversation with someone new. I've had one Texas state trooper who told me when I posed the question of "So, how you like that new DAK trigger?" in reference to his carry piece (TX recently changed over from SIG226 .357 SIG to the newer DAO system of the DAK, still in a SIG226), his response was "Is that what this is? Ha, never shot it."

Makes me cringe.

When people ask me why I carry a gun, I have a few canned responses.

1. Because a cop is too heavy.
2. When seconds count, cops are just minutes away.
(some others, but they escape me at the moment)
