I've got a half dozen of 'em, so far they run 100%. It's a great design, sort of like if Glock had built AR mags. It's a tough as hell mag body, chrome silicone spring and an anti tilt follower. They also come with a snap on/off cover that depresses the top round slightyl so that it is not stressing the feed lips if you choose to leave them loaded for an extended period of time. Mine are the all black model, but I'd really like to get my hands on the prototype transparent ones, not to be confused with the ones with the witness window. My only beef is that I can't use my mag couplers with them like I can with standard USGI mags. I also *wish* they would make alternate capacity mags, like a 40 or 45 rounder, I'd try them out in 3-gun.

Well, I said I wanted a clear mag, and I may have my chance. I stumbled across these, the Lancer L5 mag. Similar dimensionally with the Pmag and USGI mags, 30 round capacity, level indicator at 20 and 30, steel feed lips.

Anyone out there tried them out? So far I've only run across one shooter who has them and has tried them... He had nothing but good things to say. I'm thinking of ordering a few and giving them a run. That, and the Pmag 20 rounders.

BTW, got a Lancer mag to play with. Runs okay, would like to see it with a different follower though. I don't have another magpul or cmmg follower here that is loose for me to try out in it now, but I will try one or the other out in it in the future.

Still got the same Pmags, they still run good too. Funny thing though, I'v estill not used them in a match yet, still using good ole USGI aluminum 30 rounders from CProducts. CS spring with MagPul followers, 100%.

Still trying out the Lancer mag. Tonight I retrofitted it with a MagPul follower but after the installation (whichg required more than a little action with everyones favorite high speed rotary tool!) the mag will only load to 27 rounds before bottoming out. Back to the drawing board.
